CVI Advisor  Training Program (Tier II)

Who: For teachers of the visually impaired, classroom teachers, early intervention providers, parents, healthcare professionals, low vision professionals, and related service personnel.

Day 1: Overview of cortical vision impairment, characteristics of CVI, and related etiologies.

Day 2: Overview of the CVI range assessment, assessment procedures and strategies to promote literacy for children with CVI, as well as Overvier requirements for the CVI-Advisor Project.

Project Requirements:
Participants who want to pursue ongoing study to become a CVI Advisor must complete the application process and commit to three additional face-to-face training's.
